چکیده

The growing installed wind capacity over the last decade has led many energy regulators to define specific grid codes for generation systems connecting electricity grid. These requirements impose strict laws regarding Low Voltage Ride Though (LVRT) and High (HVRT) capabilities of turbines during voltage disturbances. main aim this paper is propose LVRT HVRT strategies that allow remain connected severe Power quality issues associated with harmonics inter-harmonics are also discussed a control scheme grid-side converter proposed make Wind Energy Conversion System insensitive external disturbances parametric variations. Selective Harmonic Elimination Pulse Width Modulation technique based on Genetic Algorithm optimization employed overcome over-modulation problems, reduce amplitudes harmonics, thus Total Distortion in current waveforms. Furthermore, compensate fluctuations speed due turbulence at blades turbine, fuzzy Proportional-Integral-Derivative controller adaptive gains generator side.

Control of Inverter-Interfaced Distributed Generation Units for Voltage and Current Harmonics Compensation in Grid-Connected Microgrids

In this paper, a new approach is proposed for voltage and current harmonics compensation in grid-connected microgrids (MGs). If sensitive loads are connected to the point of common coupling (PCC), compensation is carried out in order to reduce PCC voltage harmonics. In absence of sensitive loads at PCC, current harmonics compensation scenario is selected in order to avoid excessive injection of...

Harmonics Estimation in Power Systems using a Fast Hybrid Algorithm

In this paper a novel hybrid algorithm for harmonics estimation in power systems is proposed. The estimation of the harmonic components is a nonlinear problem due to the nonlinearity of phase of sinusoids in distorted waveforms. Most researchers implemented nonlinear methods to extract the harmonic parameters. However, nonlinear methods for amplitude estimation increase time of convergence. Hen...
